therapy services

therapy for children & adolescents
Working with kids and teens (ages 2 - 17 years) is the heart of our practice. All of our clinicians have specialized training and knowledge in child and adolescent development and mental health and know how to tailor therapy for different stages of development. (Yes, we have toys. And snacks).

therapy for young adults
The transition into adulthood brings new responsibilities, expectations, and decisions, often all at once. We offer therapy services for young adults (ages 18 – 24 years) to work through issues around anxiety, mood, stress, relationships, identity, independence, and life direction.

therapy for adults
Our clinic is pleased to now offer individual therapy for adults, grounded in the understanding that parent wellbeing is critical to child and adolescent mental health and family functioning. Whether you are seeking short-term support or deeper therapeutic work, we offer a collaborative and respectful space to explore growth and change.
what we do
Our approach to therapy is integrative and evidence-based, never "one size fits all". We know that people come to therapy with different experiences, needs, and goals, and our clinicians draw from a variety of approaches that are backed by research for your specific needs. We have clinicians with expertise in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), trauma-focused CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy, exposure and response prevention (ERP), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), internal family systems (IFS), interpersonal therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving skills training. The specific approaches used will depend on the presenting concerns, your goals and preferences, as well as what the evidence suggests is most effective.
We also offer supportive counseling for individuals without a specific presenting concern who just need someone to talk to about life's challenges. Supportive counselling can help build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and approach challenges with greater clarity, but is not as effective as other interventions for the treatment of clinical disorders. Your clinician will help determine whether formal intervention or supportive counselling is most appropriate.
