Chronic Illness
Living with a chronic illness can impact emotional well-being, identity, relationships, and daily functioning. Individuals may experience stress, grief, anxiety, mood changes, or burnout related to ongoing symptoms and medical demands. We have psychologists with experience working with Type 1 diabetes and other autoimmune conditions, inflammatory bowel disease, asthma, chronic kidney disease, and cancer. Therapy focuses on coping, adjustment, medication compliance, emotional support, and building resilience alongside medical care.
